His first play, the pocket musical Actress,for which he wrote the music and lyrics and co-wrote the script, was the recipient of a Broadway World South Africa Award for Best New Play Or Musical and a Naledi Theatre Award for Best Lead Actress In A Musical (Talia Kodesh).
